01/08/08 Quarterly Update We have now completed our first quarter trading as Core and I am very pleased to report 100% support from our connections/clients.  Numbers of new instructions have remained at "pre-Core" levels and the quality of  the work being received is of a higher level.  Perhaps it is appreciated by our clients that we are specialist  Loss  Adjusters principally in the field of liability, who are able to provide the necessary and independent expertise and service that is required. Myself, Alan and the staff are very grateful for the continued support that we are receiving. Since Core has been trading we have received several substantial losses, to include fire loss in an amusement arcade (approximately £250,000), product liability losses (failure of tanking system and sewage works/fire allegedly caused by defective TV), a number of potential high value injury  claims arising out of equestrian activities, substantial impact damage to a block of flats as a result of a "runaway coach", serious damage to marquee equipment due to storm damage, etc. We are able to tackle these matters with renewed enthusiasm! We are confident that we will be able to develop "Core" and progress into the future. On a lighter note myself and my wife hosted a "launch" barbecue for staff/contacts/local clients at Street End Farm, which included (by accident rather than design) a low level fly-past by the Red Arrows!
